Nowadays, wireless networks, especially the Internet, are already a platform to support not only high-speed data communications, but also have a powerful distributed computer of various personal and business processes on a daily basis.

Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is a Local Area Network (LAN) that does not rely on wired Ethernet connectivity. A WLAN can be an extension to a network with a current cable or alternative to it.

WLANs have data transfer speeds ranging from 1 to 54Mbps, while some manufacturers are looking at 108Mbps-related solutions. 802.11n speeds can reach 300 to 600Mbps
